Superyacht Australia has appointed Stephen Joyce as Project Manager for the Brisbane 2032 Marine Project, a multi-year initiative designed to position Queensland and the South Pacific as premier global superyacht destinations leading up to and beyond the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Joyce brings over three decades of leadership experience across government, private, and not-for-profit sectors, with a strong background in strategic project delivery, financial management, business development, and organizational leadership. His expertise is expected to be instrumental in the project's success.

The foundation for the Brisbane 2032 Marine Project was established in 2022 when Superyacht Australia commissioned an Economic Impact Assessment of the Australian Superyacht Sector. This assessment included a forward-looking analysis of opportunities associated with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The project's goal is to transform Queensland and the wider South Pacific into a leading superyacht destination, leveraging the global attention brought by the 2032 Games. This initiative is anticipated to boost the local marine industry, create job opportunities, and enhance the region's appeal to international superyacht owners and operators.
